I keep seeing a lot of Vayne post so I thought I would add one. I smurfed on vayne. Preseason and i'm bored. It took me 3 days to get to plat 3. In promos for plat 2 but op.gg is saying I will skip another division if I win them. Vayne is pretty good. I have almost an 80% wr on her with 40+ games on that account. I just survive until we group and then I crush the other team. When they ban her I pick ezreal if he is open. Can't solo carry as well, but he's fun and keeps i positive wr. What I am saying kind of falls in line with what everyone is mentioning.

She is not some kind of unbeatable force of nature though. When someone else picks her I just pick draven. It's the only time I pick him. Sitting on a 78% wr with him against her. You just crush her in lane and then 2 shot her later. If they ban draven I pick MissFortune 75% wr but with just 4 games. If you can position right you can mitigate her front line shred with a well time ult to the face. Tbh those are the only two adc's I can deal with her on, but you see an issue and you find a way to adapt.

Should she be nerfed? I don't really know. Laning on vayne used to SUCK, but now with fleet footwork and healing runes it's tolerable 95% of the time even when you have a less than ideal support player. The games I've lost is because of actual trolls, large amount of cc being pumped out from the other team, or being one shot by uber fed flash happy mids....oh and one super sonic speed predator hecarim. lol. I'm curious to see where this new season goes.

I think Vayne simply needs an Ashe level rework.

Passive: Makes it so once you are low health and try to retreat, it isn't really an option, she will chase you down and she will kill you.

Q: Decent ability, shares the same problem Ezreal has with Q, the fact it can interact with everything. Vayne ulted me had dusk blade and crit, Pressed Q, was 100-0d off that single ability while playing rengar. Not Okay.

W: This ability I thinks is where Riot has a lot of room to make some changes, for while it makes Vayne the queen of melting tanks, it's also an abiltiy that greatly holds her back, for to have such a strong level of single target damage, in her q and her W, riot punishes her by giving her absolutely no wave clear and range. So basically lane phase Vaynes suffer to the point they can't even make it to team phase (when she isn't busted). To fix a lot of vaynes core problems I strongly believe W needs to be altered, so she can be given strength in other areas.

E: No issues with this ability

R: A steroid ultimate and one of the best steroids in the game, I am firmly always against Steroid ultimates, but i'm not sure what you could give Vayne in order to adjust this or change to fit with her core theme.

Core Game Health Issues When she's bad, shes super bad When she's good, shes super good Has zero middle ground in how to balance.

I think Vayne isn't as op as everyone says she is. Like you said, you were smurfing to get win rates like that. I'll be impressed when you use her to get to a rating you haven't been to before on your main account. She's strong, yes, and she does need some nerfs, yes, but she's not as bad as everyone says she is.
