Season rewards should be based off of max rank

I think the season rewards should be based off of max rank attained throughout the season because it just encourages people to not play ranked if they are near the bottom of a tier. I think it would be more encouraging if people could try for a better rewards.

SO basically, i can get my friend to boost me to diamond, then get demoted back to silver but get diamond level rewards?

well i mean you can do that no matter what. they can just boost you near the later part of the season. if you wanted to play for most of the season.
