Voice chat?

So a couple of months ago i think a riot guy said that voice chat is in the talks of being implemented so i got excited. After they announced sandbox mode and the replay system i was hoping they would say something about voice chat but no. Riot has previously stated that voice chat isnt a top priority because of "toxicity". Why is that even a problem when u can just mute them like in csgo or any other games with voice chat?

well the reason why toxicity would be a problem is because there is the toxic then there are their targets, the provoked these people would rather combat the toxic instead of muting them as they think its stupid to ignore something that isn't going away on its own. now yes this doesn't help at first but the more this happens the more toxic and provoked get banned or "reformed" the less toxic and provoked there are out there or so the theory goes, now the catch to this is if riot can survive the fallout as the toxic and provoked have large numbers here so as you can imagine putting a voice chat system in right now would not be a wise move on riot's part

I think Riot could try it out on Flex Queue, and refine it there. Then enable it for trial weekends in solo/duo.

Every 10 games played in a queue with it enabled, you get a survey (no more than once a week though) about it. This would give ample data to refine it over time, without heavily disrupting solo queue.
