Why are 6.3k BE Champs weaker than 450 BE champs.

Price isn’t meant to determine power.

Yeah but why would i buy a champion that costs 6.3K Blue essence if its weaker than the one that costs 450 Blue essence, i see no point.
Preference, current meta, or just another stepping stone to getting every champion.
Simple really.

Weren't they organized by release dates? Nothing to do with strengths here.
Strong and Weak aren't the right words really. A champion's strength can be measured in many ways (I'm looking at you Gigabyte Marines with your
Nocturne Jungle at worlds and (SSG I believe?)
Miss Fortune support in a worlds final to counter
Caitlyn,
Zyra). A lot of the more expensive champs are expensive because they are newer and because they are newer less people will have them therefore more people will have to pay more BE to obtain the champ on early patches. It gives people a reason to continue playing the game.
On a second point, lets look at all the champions that were picked/banned at MSI 2018. (Not counting the first group play in stage) 62 champions were picked/banned at MSI 2018. 20 of those champs cost 6300 BE, 21 of those champs cost 4800 BE, 7 champs cost 3150 BE, 9 champs cost 1350 BE, and 5 champions cost 450 BE; those being
Ryze,
Soraka,
Singed,
Sivir, and
Ashe.
This means that 48/62 champions ( or 77%) picked/banned at MSI cost 3150 BE or more; 20/62 champions ( or 32%) cost 6300 BE. 14/62 champions ( or 23%) are 1350 BE or less; only 5/62 champions ( or 8%) picked/banned at MSI cost 450 BE.
Maybe you know something the pros don't? or you are just bitching after you couldn't carry your last game against an easier champion. Either way, I don't understand how you can make such a bold statement being only level 11, played 0 ranked games, and have no valid statistics to back you up.

Simply put: this game is not pay to win.
Riot works hard to keep it that way, and there are lots of good reasons to do so. If it makes you happy to get extremely good on the cheapest champs, like Garen and Annie, then do it. And when you have some BE saved up, maybe you can branch out. If you don't, it's not a big deal. You do you. Play the champs that you like.
RiotGames decided to try their best to keep all champions at the same power level Meaning it doesnt matter if a champion costs 6300 BE or 450 BE, they will try making all of them as strong But still some champions are stronger than others If you are looking to buy the strongest champions, then you have to learn about the META game
Because this game is not pay to win
i think because price of champs only go down....I've never seen one increase. But as champs are remade, items are changed and runes are changed champs go up and down as far as their strength.
older champs that have been out a long time are cheaper than newer champs. And older champs that stayed popular cost more than older champs that were not picked as much.

Why are you attaching the time a champion got released to his power
Huh?????????
What did I say that made you think thats what I said?
Im thinking this is a case of someone misreading a post and responding to it not realizing they are putting words in the other persons mouth.
"i said older champs that have been out a long time are cheaper than newer champs. And older champs that stayed popular cost more than older champs that were not picked as much." How do you get anything about power from this?

Oh sry... I miss understood
For the most part, price point is determined by release date. I may be wrong but, the only time price might go up is for a champ rework. Im not sure on this cause i own them all, but i coulda swore some of the remade champs were like 1350 and got turned into 3150's.
The ones that cost 6300 blue essence are newer, it has nothing to do with power or anything like that. They go down in value the longer they are around
