The new team builder is nice, but for someone who doesn't have a lot of time to play and wants to try a specific role or champion or whatever its beyond frustrating and annoying having to deal with the troll games in blind pick because "i called first, no I did, bla bla bla we all hate blind pick" or not getting the lane you wanted with the new team builder. I don't know what your reasoning was for getting rid of the old system but please bring it back. Don't make me beg now!

I guarantee Team Builder wouldn't have enough population in it to get a game in under an hour. The new draft queue replaces it too well for most player imo, and I very regularly get my role. I just don't see it working anymore.

I havnt played the new one once. It takes too long and you are not even guaranteed the lane/champ you want

HAHAHAHA. wipes away tear First of all, If you haven't played it, you don't know what you are talking about

Secondly, You are Silver V. Which means you have a very good chance to get your main lane and slight chance to get your sub lane. Your champ you want depends on if it is banned or not and I guess if that champ is wanted in another lane that gets picked before yours. From the looks of things you are a Top/Mid player just like myself. Granted I haven't hit Silver V since last season because shit came up this year IRL and not enough time to dedicate to playing.

When I do queue up however I select Mid, then top. 90% of the time... I get mid. No worries (Until my adc picks teemo and support picks crit-alistar... but hey... welcome to bronze!)

The Team builder we knew and 'loved' was shit. You would make a team, fill in the slots of players you wanted and let randoms fill the slots. I am willing to bet money that most of us were in the same situation where we had everything filled and waited 15+ minutes for that support to show up, only to scan the room, then drop. The game was in their hands and it wasn't fair. You could of course start the team as the support and get to the loading screen in about 5 minutes. Again, unfair.

What we have now is you select 2 of 5 roles and queue up to be matched with people who want the other roles. We still have the exact same issue with lack of players wanting to play the support role, you don't see it so clearly. Riot has tweaked the matchmaker so that it seems fair but that took time to do. This of course lead to an increase in wait time as it can't just pull in anyone who put support in their second lane pick like it did to start a match.

Do you want shorter queue times? Demand tweaks to the bot lane to make supports stronger (I think they have this in scope we will see soon which involves an attempt to fix the exp issue down there)

You state that for "people who don't have a lot of time", but that thing took ages to set, find allies, specially because they could leave or be kicked out without consequences, it was a really unpleasant queue overall.

All it would do is fracture the player base of normals even further. Then neither team builder or draft normal would function well.

It should replace blind pick. There are so many problems with blind. Most of the time everyone doesn't get the role they want, fights immediately start, and it's full of trolls. I pity the souls who actually think that's what they should be playing.

I second this, blind pick is fun but it's time it gets replaced by something better. I missed Team Builder and the fact there were mirror lanes in TB. Mirror lanes in TB allowed me to actually test my skill against a player of similar skill with the champ I'm using (guessing that the MMR system works properly).

The only complaints that I've seen about TB is the queue times but if blind pick were to be replaced the queue times for TB would decrease. As of right now just for draft normals I get queue times of 10-15 minutes due to dodges and that's average, TB had about the same wait.

Play 20 games Blind Pick, what you describe will maybe happen 3 games.

Blind Pick is my preferred game mode because of how smooth it runs. 95% of the time no one argues when they called a role second, they just call their next pick, or their next pick, continuing until they actually get a role. You don't have to wait forever to find a game, you don't have to wait forever to find a Support, you've got tons of people willing to Fill because they know Fill = Random in Blind Pick, etc.

It some games you get toxic people but most of the time its me not getting the role i want so there are not problems/arguments because im fine with support role

And I think that's the key. I'm fine with Support as well, but I'll almost never queue as secondary Support with Normal Draft because the system will look at Mid/Support, laugh, then give me Support every time. With Blind Pick, I know it's not going to be Support every game, even if I say "Fill" every game and don't fight for a role.

Recently in normals ive been getting mid which rarely happens.
