what champ to buy

i am new to the game so i want someone who is experienced to tell me what champ is best for mid i can play agressive and passive both : malzahar talon brand karthus or xerath?

All are different and have different play styles.

Xerath - Long ranged, 100% skill shot. Nice damage/burst. Brand - Skill shots that are fairly easy to hit, good damage, and decent burst. Karthus - You can die 100x and still be useful, if you play him. I think hes pretty hard to play, and I personally dont like him, but you may like him. Malzahar - This guys probably getting changes (nerfs) to him, but hes pretty broken right now. Hes decent if you like him. Talon - Pretty rough experience you may have, but hes pretty strong, and not played much.

Most of the mid laners you listed here arent really played much currently, but theyre not bad by any means.

I personally like Ahri Syndra Lulu for mid lane, but any one of them you listed are perfectly fine. I'd go with xerath or brand!
