Part of the reason I loved ranked the past 2 seasons was the challenge to be ready for anything. This meant I had to have a diverse pool if I didn't get a position I wanted. I enjoyed this immensely and I feel that pick "fill/____" this season will ruin that challenge for me (and others).

to answer your question no they wont/cannot make that an option. You would wait for hours to get into a game. Who knows how long it would take if you were 2000+ mmr
Memórja1 votesYou do can choose to only "Fill", as long as you choose in your first option. Doing that, you won't need to choose the second option. You can see in the official annoucement page the explanations.
