Mordekaiser sustain?

I was top vs . I hit every Q and almost always both ticks of my W. Now i cant account for my late game damage as i was going full CDR tank karma (i had when the game ended) , but from lvl 1- lvl 6 i was harrassing him constantly but he never drops below 20% health. After he got an Abyssal scepter, My Q did around 50 dmg each time i hit him.I dont play mordekaiser a lot so i dont understand, is this an intended part of his kit? IDK it just seems unfair for a resourceless champ to have so much sustain. Or maybe karma's damage is just too little. Explanation please?

You were playing Tank Karma. You don't fucking get to complain about things being unfair.

Mordekaiser has no CC whatsoever (not even a slow) his utility is barely inexistent (only has his W speed thing) No gap closer whatsoever

I think he's allowed to have some sustain, especially since he uses HP to cast abilities

Whenever mordekaiser damages something with a spell (autos may count I don't remember correctly) his passive bar fills up and essentially acts as a second health bar. Along with this his W grants him a heal.

I don't really understand how Morde works. I've gone to his wiki page so many times just trying to make sense of the damage he pumps out, but the tooltips are novel-length and make very little sense.

Sustain is all Mordekaiser has.

You were playing Tank Karma lol You don't deal any damage, because you were build TANK and no AP.

Also you were facing someone else who can sustain and build tank meaning you would deal even less damage.

Do you even realize that you just made a complete joke out of yourself? lul His HP is his resource bar and Karma has lots of damage, you're just trying to be so cool with your tank karma toplane thinking you should have 3k max HP and infinite sustain while still being allowed to do damage. Cute

Just be glad you don't have to fight the old morde. In this video a 3-1-3 morde at 23 minutes straight up wins a 1v5 with a pentakill. Most "solo" pentakills are from the 5 all being extremely low hp and the full hp guy comes in and cleans up but this one is everyone at 100%. If you watch closely, he is at 200 hp from the second kill to the final kill even dropping to 1 at one point surviving only from his passive shield.
