I started playing LoL recently and have been playing a lot lately, but I always die a lot during matches.
you should be looking for at least 5 deaths on average if you can
I don’t know if I’m really bad as a player (I usually do well as ADC when I have a good support, but I don’t think I should always depend on the sup)
or my team that doesn’t help that much (or both).
Im not sure how much of a new player you are, but a lot of people aren't great at a game right off the bat, especially when playing a highly competitive game. people always say norms is for casuals, but League entirely isn't a casual game.
I’m main Ezreal (to be honest I spent so much time playing with him I don’t think I know how to play with other champs) and in the chat people
always expect something more from me but I don’t know what; I’ve watched some videos but they seem to be made for experienced players because I don't understand a lot.
If you are learning the game as a new player, having to only play one champion if possible is the best way to learn the game over the course of time. I only played Sona and Ashe for the first 2 years I played the game, as I felt I learned the game by reading patch notes and wiki abilities I've come to know almost every mechanic in the game. but it's my mechanics I'm not the best at.
For this bit.

This is probably a standard mindset people have when they think of ADC (Attack Damage Carry). I don't think there's much to say about this, but just ignore it unless its information you can actually use.
So, as I’m tired of losing every time I start the game, I decided to look for someone good at the game and who is willing to teach me how to play. Teaching, guiding, leading, giving advice, help with possibly better items and runes than I already use… I am willing to listen, I am willing to learn. Anything is better than being mocked by my friends for not being able to even do the right farm.
You can download and use blitz.gg, blitzgg is a 3rd party software that helps you with handy little notes at the start and end of a game. It tells you if you are underperforming with your warding skills, or if you died a lot too early into the match. or more importantly, it helps you know if you are underperforming your CS score.
- You can turn off auto attacks in Options> In-Game> Game > Auto Attack
this will make it where your champion does not attack anything unless you macro an attack move using right click or a-click. this helps a lot if you are trying to last hit since you can phase your own auto attacks to kill the minions.
As much as I don't enjoy ARAM as much as people do. I highly recommend you play aram. not for the farming but the really quick games you go through aram puts you in a situation of how it feels to be in a teamfights in summoners rift. Playing Summoners Rift it takes a long time to get proper teamgfights if you don't know how champion abilities work. teamfighting happens all the time and helps you understand how champions work and you will eventually learn how to play around them or whether its a good idea to take fights you can't win.
Watching pro tournaments and pro players on twitch also helps a lot. Watching pro tournaments helps a lot because of the casters, they are very helpful at telling the viewers of play makes and what they build. There are only a few pro streamers/top-rated streamers that are informative to watch, but people like boxbox, shiphtur, rush, iwd(iwilldominate) and imls. boxbox and shiphtur normally make callouts before making a play to help their viewers understand. rush and iwd will also help you learn, but they wont tell you much, just things you shouldn't do. imls just helps you keep in touch of the meta.
You can also watch YouTubers to keep you in the meta. imls and phreaks do patch notes run downs. imls patchnotes rundown teaches you how to play the meta where phreaks rundown helps you with numbers if you're into that. im not sure if scarra does patch notes rundowns for League anymore, he just plays TFT. Also just watching highlit clip reels of high ranked players also helps A LOT. there are 2 channels that I can think of that are decent, Hi im Coconut and League of Fun.
nothing else I can say but good luck playing the game and dont swap champions too much, stick to what you know and lean as you go.
