Kalista nerfed to the ground

Hi Riot, i just want to voice my complaints about this particular problem. basically i main kalista and have over 350k champion points on her. and then she got nerfed to the ground. there was a time when she could actually compete against other adrs but then her gameplay was completely ruined by rolling out nerf after nerf on her. this actually is somewhat irritating because beside her already being very hard to learn to play properly already, even those who have taken hours of their time to learn her high skill cap now see all their efforts gone to waste. i just feel like she has been completely ruined. any comments on this matter are welcome.

The problem is that ISN'T a weakness for a champion. Kalista has infinite mobility, and if her numbers aren't nerfed to the ground, there is nothing you can do to counter a good kalista player.

actually it is, i'd like to think of myself as a good kalista pplayer, i have over 350k champion points, i know her through and through, but she just doesnt do enough damage compared to other adcs anymore

No it's not a weakness. Immobile is a weakness. Low damage is a weakness. Item relying is a weakness. Poor scaling is a weakness.

Being hard to play isn't one because this ''weakness'' can be removed just by playing the champion a lot. Right now, Kalista's kit doesn't allow her to have any weakness but low damage, so Riot had to give her that. But that weakness just makes her useless in the role she was designed for: An Ad carry.

Yeah except in her prime and even after multiple nerfs she dominated the botlane and single handedly controlled the enemy team's picks. She renders skillshot based champions and melee champions that aren't named Irelia obsolete and basically forces you into picking champions into your team specifically to deal with Kallista because her passive is far too strong.

People think Lucian's overloaded or has too much mobility but then you look at Kallista...

yeas but now she just cannot compete unless you get 2 or three kills in the first five minutes of the game because almost every single adc outscales her, maybe champs like ezreal have a hard time dealing with her because he is skillshot reliant but every champion has a counter. she is nerfed so hard that its actually almost impossible to play her, try picking her in a ranked game and your whole team will complain. and understandably so. i just hope riot gives her a buff soon, just enough so that she is a viable pick again

yeah it's unfair tbh, i was an 8/3 taliyah and had to solo the 18/4 kalista and still deleted her before she did any type of damage, not even when she's fed is she that great, that's just not fair

sometimes if i get lucky i'll get 5 and 0 in lane and then as soon as you actually start fighting out of lane you do absolutely no damage to anyone, and thats with 5 kills or more and over a hundred cs

I tried to 2vs1 in enemy base as kalista, some half a year ago. I was 14/2. I lost that fight terribly... If i was 14/2 vayne, i could probably 1vs3 or 4 at that point. But, i also have this good outplay. So as far as i understood at that point, kalista is good against tank meta. In every other meta, she doesn't do enough damage fast enough. And kalista is weak late too.

Same thing with Azir, I used to have loads of fun playing him, but now even Karthus is a better mid pick.

I was a great kalista player before riot destroyed her. Every single game i would carry. I would get fed straight from lane and 70% of the time get first blood on her with a double kill. Now ADCs can kill me before i can even do half their health. I agree she needed a nerf...but i dont agree with how much they nerfed her.

same, when i first started getting really good with kalista i was being picked up by lots of ranked teams as their designated adc because they could trust me to win lane 80%or more of the time and end up being a massive help to the team. she was a first blood machine, and could easily pick up a double if you're playing with a seasoned sup, but its just not like that anymore. i hope rito buffs her a bit soon
