So what do other people think about DFG being removed?
Personally i dont really like it because i play a lot of Ahri and Syndra. But we'll see what happens

It really hurts Mages, but the item itself is so stupidly good that it had to happen.
DFG is gone, Ahri is losing her charm amp, and they think the way they can buff her is making her into a mage...that really pisses me off.
Why? I don't even play mages that often and don't understand why they're removing it 
I've been saying that it should be removed for like three seasons, so I'm pretty hyped for it. I dislike being forced to build an item because the champion is balanced around having said item. DFG was that for a lot of champions.
Hopefully Lichbane is next. Don't get me wrong, I really like using Lichbane, but it's damage is basically adding an extra damaging spell to an AP's rotation; which is why DFG is getting the axe, it adds way too much bonus damage.
Never been a big fan of it and I agree about the balancing philosophy behind removing it.
