An idea that would give casuals and hardcore players what they want at the same time
Okay....so.....there's 2 sides to....let's call it an argument. 1 side, players out to just have fun, to them, the big offense is, toxic players, people saying mean things harrassing them for not being good enough, etc, ruining their fun. 2nd is, the players who are playing competitively, trying hard to win, and don't care what someone says, as, you can just not read it, or, /ignore it, it does nothing, but someone who wants to "try a silly build" and goes 0/8, you cannot /ignore, you probably lose. But, doing something to make one side happy likely will ruin fun for the other.
So I have an idea....simple enough.....2 types of game choices.....only difference is, the reports/tribunal, nothing else. Before you que for a match, you choose one mode or the other. 1 mode, is basically what we have now, being toxic, saying mean things, etc, is reportable/punishable, don't ruin the other peoples good time, that's what they're here for. You cannot be punished for playing badly. (feeding on purpose to troll, obviously is another thing).
The second mode, is the opposite. There are no punishments/reporting for being mean or toxic etc, other then blatant on purpose things, like spamming racism or something ridiculous. But, you can be reported and punished for horrible gameplay. Not, oh he counter picked me mid and i went 1/3/1. But more like....I don't like support, so I'm going something stupid like pantheon support and building damage. Playing champs you've never touched before and feeding, playing super far outside the meta that costs the game, etc.
Both modes could apply to normal and ranked, so that way no one has to feel like they are missing out on any of the LoL experience.
