Riot's Balance style makes watching the LCS unfun.

It maybe just me but I like to watch LCS to see some of my favourite champions get played in pro matches as it makes the games more interesting to me to see how the pros play the champ as when you have a deep understanding of a champ you can appreciate how good the pros are even more.

The problem with this is as we all know Riot seem to balance based on what is Flavour of the Month. If a strong new strategy appears that makes things fresh and interesting, Riot is IMMEDIATELY there to shut it down instantly and they always go too far with nerfing something only to have to revert it later on many months down the road if your lucky.

Nothing is more irritating than seeing your favourite champ suddenly appear in the LCS and doing really well, because whether he is unbalanced or not it means incoming nerfs for no reason. So this leads to me not wanting to see any of my favourite champs appear in the LCS and if they do, I want them to fail extremely hard so that they are never picked again.

I'm relatively new to League and am building up a group of champs I can play with but so far Poppy , Yasuo and Hecarim have been or will soon be, victims of Riot Guttings and makes things really frustrating. Yasuo was definitely OP before his nerfs and is extremely irritating to deal with when he is OP so I can understand why they gutted him, yasuo's kit is quite broken imho.

Hecarim isn't even OP now, but is continuously getting nerfed because he started appearing top lane after getting previously nerfed right out of the jungle. Next champ I've decided on learning is Swain, my criteria for choosing a champ to main is they have to be interesting, have a decent win rate in lower elo and almost never appear in challenger league. Swain meets that criteria atm.

Inb4 swain appears in LCS and is now OP. Swain

I disagree with your statements that Riot is "there to shut it down instantly" and that "they always go too far".

Start with Hecarim. He has had several patches at the top. It is not immediate. Continue with Irelia. She only received a small damage loss on her E. Continue with Sejuani. She received a nerf to her ultimates miss case and a small damage nerf. She is still played regularly. Continue with Jinx. She is due to get a nerf to her ultimate at close ranges. At max range it will still deal the same amount. This is not too far. Jarvan got small nerfs, Vi got small nerfs, Rek'Sai got small nerfs. Nothing too big. Lissandra got a small nerf. Yasuo... Was pushed out by a big nerf after a series of small nerfs that didn't do the job. It was the last resort. He has since received some small buffs. HEcarim was nerfed out of the jungle a long long time ago. At that point, he was OP. In Late season 4 and season 5 Riot has been buffing him to get him up to standard - it is a shame someone decided to play him top. He is powerful at the moment - perhaps too strong. He probably deserves a nerf or two. Poppy is not up for a gutting. She is getting a Sion scale rework because her kit is unhealthy. I mean, really unhealthy.

I don't think you have a case here...
