How much trust can i put in the report system?

Often time's much like anyone else, i come across "toxic" players. Players that trash talk, refuse to communicate, appear very unskilled, etc. Lately, when encountering these people, i just don't even report them anymore. Why? Because i have no idea that reporting them does anything anymore. In fact, it feels more like a way to "get it out of my system" by reporting them and expecting that in the mysterious abyss that the Tribunal will deal with them swiftly. And lately, i've just decided it's not worth it because where i feel i want some sort of redemption, i've stopped feeling any sort of pleasure by reporting those that are making this game toxic because i have absolutely no clue that they're getting their due justice.

Well, the problem is, i actually have no idea if it does anything. I've heard people being banned, but i've also heard frequently in the system being broken. Why do we not have access to statistics in regards to population of people suspended, or banned, reported in general.

Am i the only one that thinks this?

The thing is that the Tribunal has been under maintenance for months now. All punishments are done by bots based on number of reports, but you won't get banned from getting reported in one game.

I strongly agree that the Reporting System seems to do no good at all.

And I'm tired of match after match of afkers and trolls.

It's come to the point of League matches being based on which team has the least trolls is the one which wins!!!

(By the way, does Riot even read these forum posts?)
