Plat Low Quality Games.

Good morning! I made this discussion so I can attempt to learn more as to why my platinum elo games feel as if they are really low quality. I used to be one of those players that blamed my team so I took a good hard look at how I'm playing and corrected some mistakes I tend to make it my game play. After doing that my scores and map pressure was looking really good throughout every solo queue game I play I am able to help teammates if they are behind I can play a wider range of champions now and so on. Though now every time I queue up for a game It feels like my side lanes are coin flip though at this point it seems as though it's a one sided coin flip that the enemy team always wins. Just yesterday I had 3 people just up and afk for no reason at all. The main issue I see is that no one knows how to play safe. Say if Im playing a scaling champion mid as in vladimir or kassadin. I have to beg my team to attempt to get into the late game so I can carry. After a bunch of games on these two I made the connection to just play early mid game champions instead even though I enjoy those two because teams in my elo don't know how to play safe whatsoever. So I began to play champions like talon, annie, zed more often to try and help out my lanes that are behind but even if I help them they can't utilize their lead to any extent. They get a lead and just int it away. I started this season at Iron 2 and went up to plat 3 in about a week or so but this is the elo I can't seem to carry on. This in my eyes is because if 2+ players on my team are doing bad and get tilted and just begin to int how can I beat a team of 5 that doesnt int because they see two monkeys running it down on my team? My teammates doing bad boost the enemy's moral and end up in us losing. Can anyone help me understand why my games are such pisslow elo.
