Tips for vision control

Throughout most of my games I try to place warding totemsitem 3340 and control wards item 2055 whenever I can, and always clear out enemy wards when I canitem 3341 , but my vision score is usually still pretty low, and I usually cant see enemy junglers when they gank(Hecarim + summoner 6 = 💀). Can anyone tell me how to have more vision?

Looking at some of your recent games, it looks like your raw number of wards placed is rather low. While there may be a tempation to try and save that ward for the right moment, it is usually best to place a ward any time your trinket is off cooldown during the laning phase. You should never let it reach 2 stacks in the early game.

As for ganks, no matter how much you ward, there will always be times where you have blind spots occasionally to ganks. Generally speaking, its usually best to fall back and play more passively when your wards are on CD, ward as soon as you can, and then you can play more aggressively until your vision wears off. Try to utilize your entire team's vision with the minimap to help with this. For example, even if you have no vision on top lane, if you see their jungler cross the river near bot you know you are safe for a little while at least. Even with perfect warding though, trying to predict ganks requires a certain amount of "instinct" still, which takes time and practice to develop.

Place wards in the enemies jungle path. Every jungler has a different path that they take, so you need to try to learn their path. If you're mid, place a ward in one of the two brushes at the lane, and another at the entry point of either their red or blue and the river. Which ever one you see them at the most is the path that they take most often, so keep that warded.

Same with bot lane. Place a ward in the brush by the lane in the river and one in your tribush. Junglers will typically come from behind you, even if that means taking a few tower shots.

In top lane, place a deep ward in the river. Like where the scuttle goes when you kill it, and one in the bush just outside the lane.

Keep trying to learn the jungle path and ALWAYS look at your map. If you're not fighting, look at your map. You can still farm while glancing at the map.

And, ward their jungle. Keep a ward on their buffs or any other camp so you can know where they are.

Also, watch your laner. Most laners will start to play aggressive when their jungler is near. If they go into a full wave of creeps to get some poke in, odds are the jungler is there and will gank you.

And please, buy pink wards. Just keep one in your inventory and put it somewhere where it'll work the most against the enemy.

While place down wards is a good habit, don't expect any super impressive scores unless you're a support. With that said, do feel proud when you beat any support's vision score.

But in any case, putting a ward anywhere won't do much if you put it in a spot where no one even goes anyway. You really want to put those wards either in places you know they'll go to, like near the dragon pit, or places where you don't want to actually see them, like in the bushes next to each lanes.
