Bronze nub with (probably s^%$#)innovative nasus idea

So my favorite champions are singed and nasus. my singed build is basically rylais and liandries then full tank. building more ap barely even increases damage output compared to those items. i also play nasus and ap nasus is troll af. yes. i was thinking though what about a nasus with rylais and liandries then full tank. or tankiness with those items built in sometime over the game. he has too aoe dot abilities that i think would actually synergize pretty well with. his ultimate which does dot aoe max health that coverts into ad(if the current health damage from liandries was added omg, doubt it) and his e armor reduciton spell which is aoe dot. rylais and liandries also add health. im not talking about any other ap items though. just wondering cuz those items are very good when combined with aoe dot spells especially ones with bigger aoes which e and ult both have decent aoe. so maybe final build like rylais liandries, ice gauntlet, spirit visage, (frozen heart and mr or armor boots) or ( with another tank item with cd boots) idk what yall think

edit: so i think it would basicehally be a n asus build with no randuins/deadmans/banshees/heavy health item tht also includes resistances. but still achieves tankiness and resistances. also i think the aoe slow in itself would add amazing utility to the kit even if not including liandries with it. after reviewing responses i definately think building cdr first for faster stacking and damage output would definately be the way to go so these items (rylais, liandries) would be final items or late mid game items at best. question though aswell. in a lane that you are struggling in would building rylais or liandries component help u gain some lane presence to make stacking easier. like just a 435 ap book(idk name) or the 850 ap rod?

A tip for you. When you go AP, you still need to stack. I've seen so many nasus players build AP but end up with terrible stacks.

As for masteries I would stay down the resolve tree and have grasp of the undying as your keystone.

Good luck.

If your Bronze you should be able to win with whatever from time to time, so I say go for it and see how it works.

It does work but for several reasons is not as good as your typical Nasus build. What does Nasus typically build and for what reasons? CDR. Your Q comes up faster, effectively massively increasing your DPS and the speed at which you farm. Resistances. Synergize with your lifesteal and health, because lifesteal is essentially free effective health, if your resistances are higher you'll take less damage, making your innate lifesteal more valuable. Spellblade items like Trinity or Iceborn. Good synergy and strong powerspike knowing your Q is on a low CD.

Why is Liandry's/Rylai's less good? First, let's see how they're good. These grant an AOE %health damage slowfield around Nasus when he ults and spice up Nasus E damage, also making it slow ennemies a little bit. Why they're not so good. The stats. Only health and AP for 2 slots in your inventory. 2 stats you barely want. The later the game goes, the higher the damage output of most champions will go and having 2 items that just grant health will make you somewhat squishy in lategame. Basically, these grant no resists or cdr, 2 stats you really want to have on Nasus. The fact that overall, with your typical trinity/cdr/fulltank build you deal pretty much the same amount of damage. If you're farmed correctly, the liandry/rylai addition won't crazily increase your damage output. Not in a valuable enough fashion for it to be a viable main build.

It can work and get games winned, but it is suboptimal.

so i built rylais and liandries in a custom to try it real quick and when i ulted near caitlyn(random easy bot it selected) i slowed her and successfully killed her with like only 2 autos and still had above 80 percent health( it was a easy bot though). i was following her watching the damage for perspective. i was already a few kills up to make process faster of buying the items. i really dont think i even q'd her one time. just wanted to see the ult liandries rylais damage. it wasnt super impressive but it seemed like a hell of a good passive damage doer for close champions. and the slow was incredible kite for days dont need w. if their are multiple killable enemies u could kill them all if they didnt split up and make u chose who to slow. the e did like half health too if a couple liandries proc'd on her which makes it better cuz with no lifesteal i think he could effectively one shot with stacks or f!@#$ it time it right lifesteal doesnt matter much
