So just today [9/11/2016] I was vsing a Katarina, I didn't mind the first time i vsed her because i thought to myself "Wow this person mush be very good with Kat". However, i slowly changed my mind as I started vsing more and more Kats and realized a pattern. The team with a Katarina will always win. What are your thoughts on the new Pre-Season Kat rework? Am I crazy or has she become a broken champion?

Kat's the most difficult out of all the reworked assassins (her rework made her even harder to play well) and as far as power is concerned - she's not that great atm. Not trying to be rude or anything, but if this is a serious thread - I'm baffled with people's stupidity or misconceptions about League of Legends. People used to think (the old) Kat is a pubstomper, you just mash buttons and win. The reworked Kat can't mash buttons and has to setup her daggers, but NOW she's really broken? LOL, getting sick seeing the average conversation about champs and the meta is silver 5 thinking levels. I know people with greater understanding of the game have simply given up to explain things to the average player, cause it's pointless, but man, sometimes I just can't stop myself. I apologize.

Archangel Berial3 votesdude i see people explode there lane with legit 1 item even if she is an assassin you shouldnt be able to bend your laner over and just 100 to 0 them in a combo spanning 1 second and she isent very hard lol if you throw a dagger at a champ in jump on that champ the dagger damn near always lands on you, and before you bs me i have played her she is stupid easy to play she dosent even have a skill shot .

If you find reworked katarina to be mechanically challenging then I have a sad news for you - you will not get out of silver. Its also funny how you complain about "silver 5 thinking" but you are unranked yourself.

She may no longer be able to jump to wards, but she can throw her knives with an even shorter cooldown allowing her to leap away quickly. Archangel Berial2 votesHonestly I find her beyond broken atm see it all the time she builds only gunblade and builds ga right after while still 100 to 0 ing champs left and right, like they need to fix her ratios or something no one should do 1500 dmg in a 3 ability burst with 1 item. Like normal people build a bunch of ap items to do what she does with 1 in a fraction of a second.

Alex The Ninja2 votesShe is actually op as hell, no other champion can do as much dmg at lv 3 as her. Combine it with low cooldowns, no mana costs and super mobility and there you go. Also there is no skillshots in her kit, nothing she can miss and nothing you can dodge when playing against her. She is so noob-friendly and strong at the same time. In other words low skill cap, low risk - huge reward champion. Defeniately needs a nerf.

Hige2 votesyou do have a small timeframe where you CAN do stuff, that said the skill that does the LEAST damage in her kit seems to be her ult, since it's more like a DoT I guess, her Q on the other hand hits like a truck and you barely have any time to react to that one, then shunpo is medium damage and her passive on the dagger is HUGE, it doesn't help that the skill seems to be bugged, let me explain:
when you throw a Q, a dagger flies through the air and lands on the floor, the time it takes the dagger to land can be completely overwritten by shunpo, it's almost as if she can catch the dagger in the air and to the rolling motion thing. While this is thematically correct, it increases her damage by a LOT and reduces reaction time by half on a skill that's already pretty damn fast.
FooodStamps2 votesI just recently hit diamond 4 playing Zed, Ahri, and Anivia mid and I think Katarina is by far the most difficult champion in the game to play properly atm. Maybe when people do not know how to dodge her abilities she can be seen as broken but against better players who know not to walk backwards into the Q she becomes a much harder champion to work with. I don't play her myself but she's pretty uncommon in diamond and definitely very hard to pull off. If she got nerfed she would go into Azir tier of being too mechanically challenging for way way too little reward in an instant

She doenst need to go AP either as she can build sunfire cape, randuin's armor and spirit visage and beat almost every champ. I think katerina is unhealthy at this stage as she is an assassin doing massive damage while being tanky and hard to kill. The assassin role play is to be squishy, maybe slightly tanky but not full on tank build. Please Nerf!!!

coffin, and from not using my e at all in lane for 30 min, the delay on my w missing champs way more often now and my q now jumps me into everyones abilities instead of teleporting behind them to avoid sneaky fizz ults from bush... Im sad to say goodbye to my main for the past few years :(

Dowwnwind1 votesKatarina has always been the champ with two abilities and one item: gunblade-flash-ult. period. her little dagger thing is useless if she doesnt hit you, and if you time it right it, just poke her when she tries to get it, she runs away for cooldown. other then that, all she has to do is flash ult a team fight, and she will take out like 3 people. she is like a world of warcraft hunter from burning crusade into wrath of the lich king: faceroll your keyboard, and do nothing.
however, she is also like ahri, yasuo, and zed, dont feed them, and force them to farm. 9 times out of 10 they cant do anything if htey are forced to farm, becasuie they cant snowball. i always tel my lanes look, she has one kill, shes going to roam, so ward up, and fall back. learn to reatreat. if she comes around, back off and ignore her. so what hapens? katarina will go 6/0 with 2 triple kills.
