Playing games earn you honour passively.

Honouring a team mate or getting an honour helps you progress faster, so be on your best behaviour.

If the still have the Honorable Opponent you could have stayed after games and talked nicely to people, unfortunately for now that isn't an option. In game I always feel so rush I don't have much time for pleasantries.
