Secondary Movement Mechanics (Laugh)

I'm asking for a subtle revert in mechanics: I would like to be able to cancel a walk with a Laugh. 100% of the time. I know this sounds silly, but since a few patches ago, it only works about 30% of the time now. I assume it is something along the lines of it depends what foot your champion is on / what part in the step they're on. I used to main Blitz, and I would use Laugh to make people dodge / flash when they anticipated hook. It was a mechanic in my gameplay I relied on. It made the robotic noise they were anticipating. Now, when I try, I often end up standing still (it does cancel movement) but no laugh comes out (70% of the time). I also use Piltover Customs skin, so it's hard to tell what part of my step I'm on, since feet are wheels.

If anyone has useful input on this, I'd like to hear about it. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that your champion actually is laughing when you press laugh during movement. The reason it sounds to YOU like he isn't laughing is because the laugh audio doesn't cancel the movement command audio on your client. You will get the same thing when trying to spam multiple emotes on some champions, or when mixing emotes in with ability use. Nobody else hears your movement command audio, so they should be able to hear your laugh audio even if you don't.

It's not. Unfortunately, I've already tested this, lol. The problem I'm describing shows Blitz as both stationary and mute to me, allies, and enemies.

maybe hit 'S' (stops all actions) and then laugh or hit ctrl 4 twice.? :s

I have been using S for now. It's the best alternative. It's ok, but definitely slower and produces different results. I don't like using Laugh twice because when it does come out the first time, it seems less like a hook.

I know this all sounds silly, but I truly do notice a big difference in enemy reaction for various ELOs.

Unfortunately, this could possibly be tied into a much deeper set of mechanics and it would be a pain to change, and if so, oh well. I'm just posting this on the very rare chance that it would be an easy 1 min fixerino.

Upvoted for use of "fixerino."
