The announcer now informs you when the enemy has DC/RQ

I noticed this in my first match in this patch. The enemy jungler was having internet problems resulting in disconnections. We kept on getting notifications that the enemy has DC'd with the quote "A summoner has disconnected".

I feel that this is a sneaky feature that the programmers might have sneaked in or i might have missed something on the patch notes.

If this is a sneaky programming add on then i just have to ask nicely "Please remove it, this gives the enemy more knowledge that the enemy team is weaker and that enemy's faulty net or rage quit can lead the other team to exploiting this to win the match quicker."

Its your game i mean you can do what you want with it but I shouldn't get informed that the enemy is 5v4. A win is still welcome but i have to feel sorry for the enemy team is down one team mate due to this and they can't even remake either.

It was a typo sorry. I corrected that quickly in just a few seconds but it looks like you saw it in just 1 second.

Had a lot of people go AFK/DC on ARAM, either on our team or the enemy team. They usually just announce that it's a 4 v 5, or you can pretty much come to the conclusion yourself after no champ presence, him/her not buying any new items or severely underleveled.

aram is a lil different its easier to tell who is afk or DC but in the summoner's rift map it could be the jungler who is DC and we wont notice until the announcer says he/she has disconnected.

it does sound like a bad move for the announcer to tell the opposing team that we can take the advantage.

That's true, I can see what you mean. But it's been added, I didn't hear of anything like it being added on the PBE so it's weird that it's suddenly on the live servers without any feedback. Though, like you said, it is their game and it's subject to change whether they see fit. Hopefully they'll see feedback and make changes!

I'm not gonna lose sleep over that XD.

But this will keep me vigilant when i notice my jungler has DC'd from the game.

I just hope my predictions are right.
