RIOT Please. Don't do this to us. We don't care if Garen isn't a competitive champion. Everyone loves him the way he is. He is one of the first champions and presents an icon to League of Legends. Players the past days are saying that they will quit LoL if this rework happens. We are beggin you RIOT don't do this to us. You are here for the players to support them and listen to our needs. I'm sure 95% of the people will agree with me. Here is a poll to prove my point:

riste, challenger garen 1trick, was consulted by riot for most of these changes. and every garen player i've seen so far seems to like them
and these changes will certainly not make him competitively viable, so that's obviously not riot's concern. they're making him more playable.

wolvius3 votesYou mean keep him as the bruiser that loses nearly all top lane matchup and Riste whose's a garen one-trick prefers going mid-lane because he can actually win some matchups and not have to stay under tower for the first 15 minutes of the game. If you get fed as Garen, you can buy 1 bruiser item in the form of Black Cleaver, not even a full damage item, 5 tank items and run people down and instagib them with Q+E+R while having 4.5k+ HP and 250 armor. God help you if he buys Triforce.
CCing him doesn't work because of his massive Tenacity where by late game he reduces CC against him upwards of 80-90% on top of his Q completely breaking all slows on him. Meaning that the one actual weakness Juggernauts are supposed to have, mobility, he has no issues with. (Then again, most juggernauts ignore the "just kite them" mantra pretty easily, so...)
He gets fed, he hard solos games. He gets behind, he gets tanky, gets back ahead and hard solos games.
Garen, more than any other tank/juggernaut, needs a rework.

Yeah he's decent in lower, but with the number of champions there are and how many bad match ups he has now it's a waste of time to learn to play him making him a bad beginner champ. Ryze, Ashe, Warwick, and Poppy are all the same price and are much more complex and bring more to the table then Garen does the price point might not make a champ a beginner champ, but it's the one new players will buy. Beginner champs don't need to be in league period at this point. People are going to gravitate towards the champs that appeal to them the most and learn that one regardless of difficulty.
When I play Garen I either I get a good match up or I was first pick an pray that my jungler can make it too me before I'm to far behind on CS. Besides the spin changes and the true damage ult, this rework is way closer to base garen than villiany garen was (old garen W passive was 25). Although if you really want old Garen I wouldn't mind the base 350 move speed and the 2.5 second silence again.

Garen is impossible to kill but he is not a tank anymore and he can oneshot the full team in a teamfight with ONE fcking E this things deal too much damage and tank too much . If riot want to make him an assassin ok but make him be more squeashy or reduce his damages plz because each game with a garen in is a win for the garen this champ is actually a cheat code . So please dear Riot more than banning streamers for nothing go take a look at your game and make him better and more agreable to play and balance cause this rework is shit .
