ARAM TRADE/Re-roll

In ARAM champion select a teammate requests a trade

I weigh in how good I am with the champion I have, consider the alternate that is offered, and decide to accept--giving the teammate the original roll i received thinking to myself 'ahh, yeah, if they're asking for this champion they likely are good with this champ'

I accept.

**Then they re-roll the champion I just gave up to them

they re-roll the champion I just gave up to them they re-roll the champion I just gave up they re-roll the champ**

No conversation was had regarding not wanting my champion or that they were going to re-roll the champion.

My entire concept of requesting a trade was to ask for something you could play more well than what you were dealt--not to ask for something someone has just to toss it out.

Is there any normal process to report this?

Is it considered unsportsmanlike, griefing, non-communicative?

Why is this not a valid reason for /remake?

Has anyone else had frustration from this?

Whats worse? After being frustrated enough from that incident, if one chooses to dodge from champion select they are penalized for it.

  1. i see you having nunu in aram

  2. i have xerath but i don't know how to play him (example)

  3. you offer me nunu for xerath or i offer the trade myself and even though i can play nunu, i accept and then reroll.

why? because i don't want to feed with xerath. and i don't want to reroll xerath while you keep a shitty nunu. this decision was a good decision for the team.

just because you don't understand some or all of these scenarios it doesn't mean that those people are doing something wrong or being negative.

i frequently trade and then reroll to take shitty aram champs away from allies if they accept. it's called tactical decision-making.

You exactly fit the type--failure to communicate to the team regarding intentions. Whether you are good with Nunu in ARAM or not, making judgement calls should at least be communicated and discussed.

Your first mistake was in thinking if they were asking for it, they're good with it. I've seen some very bad players at a character ask for it. Honestly I think some people trade for Teemo because they think he is cute or want to troll rather than because they're good at him.
As for me, it depends. If you're on Nunu, I might trade for it and reroll. But I will wait about 20 seconds hoping you reroll first. Or if we have 4 adcs and you have Vayne, I might trade for it, give you the better adc or at least one easier to play, and reroll.
So in short, if I just see a terrible character like Nunu or we have a terrible team comp with 4 ADCs and I can rid the team of the weakest one and improve the team comp, I'll do it. I consider that a good sacrifice for the team rather than any sort of bad conduct.

On the other hand if someone trades for Vlad and rerolls it into a nunu and proceeds to go ham, spawn, ham spawn all game and ends up 0-22-1, I'm gonna be thinking I just got trolled and possibly report them for feeding.

Communication, though, is the issue--must be failure on my part.
