Patching

I would love to hear feedback about this. How many of you are tired of a new patch like almost every week. I for one am sick and tired of getting off late and im tired and just want to play a couple games before i have to wake up for work again. Or on the weekends my friends and i have to waste time always downloading some patch that is a very minor enhancement or change to the game (then riot ends up turning off a character or ranked ques because the patch screwed something up. I dont understand why riot cannot just lump all this stuff together and do bigger patches alot more spread out like EVERY OTHER GAME on this planet. The more you patch the more other problems arise i feel like. You would build up alot more hype and excitement for new things that will be in the game if you just do bigger patches like 2-3 times a year, and just let people play the game, your too focused on making money in your tournaments that you have forgotten people who actually play the game just for fun. For example, this DJ sona patch is already creating lagg, for people in game and im stuck in downloading it. Lastly I just want to say i've spent ALOT of money this game, way more than I should, but thats because i enjoy it, but i cant if im always downloading some freakin new patch and have issues with it and the game time and time again.

World of Warcraft says hi. They patch every Tuesday, no exceptions, no matter how small the patch is. Still has a massive player base, as does League. You perfect a game by making small changes, implementing them over time (weekly patches) and getting community feedback on how well those changes are working (boards, competitive play), then make adjustments next week. Rinse and repeat.
