Ok Riot, we get it. You like short games.

Riot has made it clear at this point that they don't want to increase the average game length by anything over 35 minutes. This is understandable. It's just not practical to schedule LCS around 50+ minute long games. Isn't this the perfect time to bring a new (old) map to the table?

Does anyone remember Magma Chamber? It was suppose to be Summoners Rift 2.0 when it came to game length. It got put in the freezer though. This would be a great time to bring it back for the players who miss longer games.

What do you guys think?

Do we need a new map geared towards longer games?

Well games don't really go to 35 minutes. It's more like one lane gets fed and 4/5 people want to surrender at 15 because snowballing is a big issue. Than that one jerk presses no forcing the game to go to 20. At 20, if 2 people press no the game ends on a loss at like 25-27 minutes and people who wanted to surrender at 15 are now pissed because they waisted that 10-12 minutes. And remember now, the only reason people wanted to surrender at 15 was because if Katarina gets fed, she'll just roam to bot lane, pick up a kill and proceed to carry the game. You also have no chance of being safe because of tower dmg.
