So here is my point : I think Zyra mid is really viable and maybe a bit too strong. She does well agaisnt actual mid meta, due to her hard CC. For example, when laning agaisnt Zed, when he goes ham into you press R then go for your full combo and he's dead. What do you think?
Her (E) is consider one of the easiest skill shots to land i find.
She's way too squishy and immobile. Yeah she can poke a bit with her plants, but if someone like Ahri or Leblanc all-in her + jungle help she's gonna be in trouble. Her only cc (aside from her ult) is easily dodged. She has good damage and can discourage dives thanks to her ult, but slight miss-positioning can result in a death for her because she's slow and squishy.
So here is my point : I think Zyra mid is unviable and maybe a bit TOO weak. She does horribly against actual mid meta, due to her hard-to-aim E, and long animation ult for the knock-up. For example, when laning against Zed, when he goes ham he presses R, you go for your full combo as does he, he presses R again, you're dead he walks out and pushes up the wave, and your stupid ass passive completely misses him. What do you think?
On a more serious note, the problem with Zyra is that she dies, she dies before her plants get off damage, she dies before her ulti gets off the knock-up, she dies before she can even cast her Q. She's squishy, immobile, and jut weak in general. I dunno if you want nerfs, but if you do you gotta learn to play assassins, or really anyone who won't get fucked by a weak champion.
I'm not very high rank, but I do pretty well with Zyra mid, just as good if not more than other mids. She's a strong pusher, she has fantastic AOE Damage, decent crowd control, and she's invaluable taking down objectives. Her laning's not the best, but she does pretty well, and even in lanes where she's at a disadvantage, she farms it up pretty well.
Seriously, Zyra's got her flaws, but her AOE Damage and CC are so immense they make up for it. Of course, while she's worth taking mid, she's also just as good or better as support. (Supposedly, at least) So why not take her bot lane and free up mid for an even stronger champ?
