Why aren't Kindred assassins?

Also Nidalee counts. She goes in for the execute, Kindred could follow a similar attack pattern. Their gapclosers are similar. Nidalee has way more range and burst and is even more mobile.

I don’t think the idea of a ranged assassin is inherently bad if you trade something to budget it, like mobility, or structure their damage output so that the kill doesn’t happen at range but the damage does.
