Matchmaking doesn't care about your league, it only goes off MMR and party composition. I mean, look at your team MMR right there. Lol the unranked team had higher mmr than yours!

Do you not see a problem with that? Can you honestly look at that matchup and think that is gonna be a fair game?

Yes, dude. The MMR is RIGHT THERE. It says 1493 Your Team's MMR with 4 Platinums

and

1513 MMR your Enemy team's MMR which is HIGHER than yours with 3 unranks.

It was completely fair, and if it wasn't they lose, and their MMR probably dropped, to somewhere more satisfactory.

You realize normals MMR is not a reflection of these plat players skills right? There ranked MMR would be much higher than 1500. Three is no way this is a "fair match" no matter how you look at it. If you are a ranked player, your ranked MMR should take priority if its higher than your normals.

If you think that rank = skill, you couldn't be more ignorant. A large portion of the community is probably high skill level but won't get there because of other constraints.

I'm sure when diamond one players go into normals they just become straight up retarded and lose all ability to play this game. I doubt most of the unranked is high skill level since most of the community that tries is bronze and silver. Rank does show skill when most of the community cant even hit gold. Clearly these plats arent gonna stand a chance especially because their ranked mmr is almost 300 points higher than their normal mmr. Matchmaking is trash. Ranked mmr should take priority over normals or else you just get stomps.

Hella meaningful that was. If you guys seriously think that this is ok the way it is you are so disconnected from the game I cant believe it. And yes I'm mad. I had a team of plats and I'm silver, ofc I was meaningless to the team. Look at the number of games played in each team. It's like you guys are not even trying to make it fair.

It's almost as if matchmaking goes off the MMR of the game mode you're playing in and not Ranked... HMM OP.GG SEEMS TO AGREE

The only game mode where matchmaking is actually significantly unbalanced is high elo teambuilder (sometimes) and that's because otherwise you'd be queuing for like 30-40 minutes

There are bad players in plat and good players in silver (and also the opposite)

It's pure, fresh, steaming bullshit. At least look at the number of games each player has played. I went afk that game for a while cause I had to take a dump and I still won.

That could just say more about how meaningful your play is to your team's victory than it says much about the enemy team, though. Doesn't necessarily mean the enemy team was awful, maybe your four players were really great.

It means they are new to a champion, supposedly. The other team had much more experience with their champs. It's not a surprise.

This game is not balanced lol. If it was then people with the same mmr as you would be in the same game as you.

Not only is this a normal game, but it is a Draft Pick normal game. The 4 plats probably queued together over to normals, probably because they needed a 5th for ranked, and meanwhile only had a fair ranking in the queue. If you haven't played in that queue, you aren't going to be that strong in it.

That said, 1500 MMR isn't that bad. Right at Gold V level. So, not only did your team sluff into a lower-level queue, but the enemy team appears to have played enough Draft Pick Normals to jump quite a few normals ranks without gaining many ranked ranks. Would be nice if the 5's queues shared MMR, but I guess that can be abused or something.
