Matchmaking is balanced.....

Matchmaking doesn't care about your league, it only goes off MMR and party composition. I mean, look at your team MMR right there. Lol the unranked team had higher mmr than yours!

It's almost as if matchmaking goes off the MMR of the game mode you're playing in and not Ranked... HMM OP.GG SEEMS TO AGREE

The only game mode where matchmaking is actually significantly unbalanced is high elo teambuilder (sometimes) and that's because otherwise you'd be queuing for like 30-40 minutes

There are bad players in plat and good players in silver (and also the opposite)

Smurfs I say, Smurfs. Platinum isn't even high MMR these days..

If the 0's right next to the champions name, show the amount of times people have played those champs, is it any surprise they lost?

This game is not balanced lol. If it was then people with the same mmr as you would be in the same game as you.

Not only is this a normal game, but it is a Draft Pick normal game. The 4 plats probably queued together over to normals, probably because they needed a 5th for ranked, and meanwhile only had a fair ranking in the queue. If you haven't played in that queue, you aren't going to be that strong in it.

That said, 1500 MMR isn't that bad. Right at Gold V level. So, not only did your team sluff into a lower-level queue, but the enemy team appears to have played enough Draft Pick Normals to jump quite a few normals ranks without gaining many ranked ranks. Would be nice if the 5's queues shared MMR, but I guess that can be abused or something.
