How important is laning phase?

I'm trying to learn more about how to play the game competitively. I'm a newish player. Should I be picking up lane bullies and shoving, or team fighters with a lot of cc?

By the way I'm talking about top lane.

Just win lol

its pretty important it start of the game so doing well or bad usually tells you how the game is going to end. Since you're new you probably just want to one trick a champ of your choice to learn the fundamentals then the other parts of the game. Also you're gonna get tilted no matter what, its league, but just take a break when overheated and you'll be fine(or flame them back its more fun that way). Keep playing this game and don't spend money on this shitty company.

Lane doesn't matter at all. Every game is "Win lane, lose game". Welcome to League.

Depends on the lane:

Top you can int all you want. Doesn't matter. Unless you're Darius Renekton Mordekaiser Jax You better win your lane.

Mid: You int. You lose the entire game for the team.

Bot: Same as mid.

Jungle: Not getting drakes while people are staying in lanes (Not playing Warwick Shyvana Udyr Nunu you get the idea.) you basically lose the game for the team.

Drake > Baron > Jungle > Ganking.
