Preseason and New Runes/hexcrafting
Everyone has already seen it at this point. I personally don't like these changes. Yeah, honestly a lot of it is because I was used to the previous balancing. I knew the damages, i knew the abilities, i knew the timing...etc. Not gonna lie, it may have been preseason or mid season last season that i also didn't enjoy the changes immediately. I can admit to that, but I truly believe these changes are bad. Yeah, i know people will just say "don't play" or "nobody cares" yeah yeah yeah whatever go ahead.
Again, we've all seen posts like this. The new runes are mental. I truly don't get what they were thinking. The hexcrafting changes are a very very clear cash grab for you. A nice jab to all those naive little ones who don't think riot makes decisions based on profit. "but, but they care about their community". No, no they don't. They care about making as much profit as possible. If they can do that and make people happy i'm sure they will, but if it's one or the other it's going to be profit for them. Admittedly, champs aren't too much different. Just an IP to BE change. 6300 champs are still 6300. But now that hexcrafting AND champs are costing BE, we then have less of it in total because we have to choose which to spend it on. Furthermore the drop rate of BE as a lot of people have been saying is disgusting. Just completely stupid. We get it, you don't want people to be able to stack up IP as they have. I personally own all champs and can get any new champ right when they come out because i have stacks of what used to be IP. When xayah and rakan came out i bought the duo for myself and for like 3 different friends just because i had the IP. It seems like you're taking my hard work and what i earned and just reducing it to almost nothing.
Don't get me wrong, I'll wait it out a little and see how it is, but honestly i'm starting to lean heavily towards just not playing this game anymore. I played for a long time, maybe it's just time to move on. Maybe i'm over it. It just that feeling of wanting to hold onto how the game was that keeps me here, I'm sure some people can relate.
Riot tried to defend their new BE system, if anyone can explain it to me better i'd appreciate it, because as of now it just seems like a middle finger to the players. Also any differing points of view about the changes in general I'd like to hear.
