W: TWILIGHT SHROUD Akali restores energy and creates a cloud of smoke, which slowly spreads to cover a ring-shaped area. While in the smoke, Akali is obscured and has increased movement speed.

While obscured, Akali is stealthed and though her position can be revealed, Akali herself can't be—meaning she can't be targeted by abilities or attacks, including by turrets.

Akali can leave the smoke a few times to extend the duration of Twilight Shroud by a small amount.

Why is it retarded? Well all other champions with stealth Abilities can be seen and attacked by turrets... and receive damage, but oh boy not Akali, lets make this ability the most broken one in the whole game... Seriously most retarded rework of an ability i have ever seen in my whole game history i have been through.

Worst ability riot ever made was flash. The entire game is balanced around it and they won't remove it now because of that.

I used to think that, but I feel like there's so much more to do against Yasuo W than there is Akali W. Especially since Yasuo himself can't really interact with it like Akali can use E to dash to it. That and tower's actually kablam through Yasuo W.

Akali's W is effective against everything.

Also while I often see slippery slope being falsely attributed, but it really is kind of funny that CertainlyT's creations are only getting more and more broken with each new release (with the sole exception of that time when he was acting as a proxy of Reav3 when working on WW rework).

Can we just stop allowing him to fondle with things, please?

How about you git gud? Akali is still revealed and still takes AoE and skillshot damage. Don't act like there's no counterplay. Pick something like a Xerath and she shouldn't be able to get anywhere near you.

Yeah.... She's only revealed under turret the shroud is still too effective against aoe and skillshots. And while she may be visible under turret, I don't think any decent xerath would be throwing skillshots up close at melee range against an assassin with increased movement speed...
