Upgrading Computer components

I have a question regarding what would be the most important update to my computer for optimal league of legends performance. I currently have a Intel Pentium CPU G3258 @ 3.20 Ghz and a Nivdia Geforce GTX 750 Ti. I currently only use this computer for league of legends and have no intentions of changing that in the future. In game, I get decently high fps ~144 capped, but occasionally it will start to jump down to as low as 60. I know thats still considered high fps but the constant jump from high to low causes the overall smoothness of the screen to be somewhat of a problem. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

I do that but than Im stuck at 60 fps and the game feels kind of slow?? Not sure if this is just something I have to get used to or not. Do you play on vertical sync?

no, i dont, but i get a steady 244 fps at all times.

but before i got this computer, i used to play at 60 fps. its hardly any difference, the 60 fps wont cost you any deaths, its smooth enough to play, you just gotta play with vert sync on a bit to get used to it.

well the pc is ancient and crap but should run league just fine however it doesn't matter if you get 60 or 6000 fps since it depends on your monitor's frame rate. cap it at 60 see what happens

I have a brand new monitor that is relatively new so I dont think this is the issue. I'm more interested in what I need to upgrade rather than changing the settings.

it has nothing to do if it is new or not. if the v sync doesn't work like the guy above said try setting it to cap @60 fps. if that doesn't work either.... probably your pc.
