Today I quit League

There is an illness in this community that has ruined countless solo queue games through the years. Today was the final straw though. After coming off a great hot streak in some solo queue, and some fantastic games with my friends, I was put into a lobby with four of the most toxic players I've ever encountered. I managed to stop many afk attempts and managed to stop every surrender vote, gave consolidation, and tried to turn the mood of this lobby. I balanced the team on the edge, and managed to take the lead by helping the angry lanes. Alas. after every fight they would start bickering again, threatening to afk, abusing one another, swearing and being unable to work as a team. It seems there is a problem with matchmaking at the moment. There should be a lobby only for nice players. A physical and visual lobby that if players abuse in, they are removed from it. It would only really work in solo/duo norms/ranks to prevent teams abusing this. It would be the antithesis of the lowprio queues. Players shouldn't start in this lobby either, they should earn it through the commend system. Players should be encouraged at the end of the game to commend someone on their team as well, a prompt or group vote. Something to really mark out the great team players who deserve better than to play with toxic players.

Tldr: Until I am matched with other positive players, it seems my days on League are over.

find the mute button and press it and play the game.

You're literally encouraging people to be toxic towards you by not pressing that button, having a game were the other 4 are constantly arguing is not that common so just move on and accept you can't win every game.

so... one game with negative people is enough to make you "quit" League... sorry but what? and how are you even going to get matched with positive players if "your days with League are over"? overreacting much? i have had games with horrible people and all i do is mute them, report them and move on with the next game in which i might find other toxic players or some overly great players. I had an ARAM match not that long ago in which it was a 3v5 and my team decided that since the 3 players were doing their best and not %%%%%ing (that we knew of) to give them the win and we surrendered. Sure i was "only ARAM" so it doesn't matter but there are people who take every single mode seriously and to find 4 completely random people who would give up an easy win since all that was left was their nexus to actually reward the team with the handicap with a win.

There are many more positive players than toxic/negative/horrible/whatever ones. If you let one game affect you so much that you need to "quit league" then i seriously have no words for you. Get a thicker skin and stop letting some random people say affect you to that degree. Everyone has bad games, everyone faces horrible players just like everyone will have great games with great people it's up to you to make the best out of both situations and report/mute/honor accordingly
