Ranked games with friends

@Riot, I love playing ranked games, but I hate playing with random people. I have a number of friends who I play with and we are all at about the same level of skill from Silver to low Plat. I am the person who dreads playing solo que because of all the troll and people who are not willing to play as a team. This is a big reason why I play with my friends and do not normally play 5s if logged on by my self. You said at the beginning of last season that "this is a team game and players should not be punished for wanted to play with their friends".....SO WHY ARE YOU PUNISHING US NOW????? I heard that it was because of pro players, I do not know if that is true but if it is, please do not change a large part of what makes this game fun because of the 1%...Pro players practice with a team all day, so solo que is like their release. Good for them for being good at the game, but the rest of the 99% (who keep this game alive) play this game too and some of us (a lot of us) have a circle of friends they play with. Now if 3 or more of my buddies get on, we have to split up if we want to play ranked...I do not see the logic in this change....This new way of teaming up in ranked needs to change, it was not broken, so why mess with it??? Is there something I am missing?? please Riot, do the right thing, and keep this a game where I can play with my friends on a competitive level. Thanks for hearing me out.
