High Mobility Champions.
I normally don't write on the forums but with this new champ out it raises a question i never really got a satisfactory answer to.
How to handle high mobility champions. Since Ekko came out Riot has implemented measures to bail people out of their own mistakes. Things like blast plants, even terrain phase through champs like Kayne or rework Talon.
As a supp, Top, Jungle player its infuriating. In ye olden days you had to consider pathing, terrain, and relative speed. I can no longer out smart my enemies with ambushes in the jungle. Now i have to completely ignore ganking high mobility lanes. As a Support I can't speed my ADC enough to out run 3 dashes or terrain hoping. Even as a top lane player i cant secure kills even if they have 200 health. I properly chain my CC to win the skirmish just to have them escape.
Coming from heavy strategy gaming it seems Macro strategy has been phased out to cater to, honestly, the lowest common denominator.
How do champions like Leona (aside from never using zenith blade saving it for the one enemy champ that terrain hops), Volibear, Thresh (aside from never using death sentence saving it for the one enemy that terrain phases) or Shyvana to name a few, "stick" to high mobility champs?
I'd like a riot employee to explain the counter play to this. I mean that's why they nerfed veigar way back, there was no counter play to his stun combo. This is a gameplay trend that, as far as explained to me (even by pros), can only be countered by other high mobility champions.
