He's in the same position today that Urgot was a year ago, only his kit is actually good. Shaco mains are some of the most loyal one-tricks in the game and it kills me to see us turned into trolls or forced to play champions that we quite frankly just don't care about just to get into Gold.

Shaco's so weak right now that him being played at 100% effectiveness is still worse than a first time Lee Sin. Lee has over 600% in total AD ratios and crazy high base damage on all of his abilities, like most decent junglers. Why can't Shaco have the same thing?

You guys were smart enough to figure out the Kog'maw mini-rework was a failure and reverted him mostly. Why can't you do the same for Shaco until you decide to do his full VGU? He may have been a dated champion, but he was still fun and very effective. There was no sense in breaking his kit and turning him into shit with a rework already on the horizon.

Riot literally just said, "Fuck it, if you guys won't play him like we want him played, we'll just make him unplayable until we can rework him!" like a child crying over sandcastles not being built the way that he likes.

Much like with evelynn rework, they'd have to remove the ''cheese factor'' out of Shaco's kit before buffing the rest of his kit. That would mean no more cheese invades with Shaco at lvl 1/2. Or a nerf to his stealth, or to anything that can make dealing with him a hell.

They removed stealth pre-6 to Evelynn, which means that she is open to receiving buffs elsewhere in her kit. (Granted she is currently abysmally weak, but she'll get buffed eventually)

The question is: What would be ready to lose in exchange for a stronger, more reliable kit?

Although I definitely support buffs to Shaco -- Shaco main myself, I don't think he's useless. He's not unplayable. He's if anything, a bit more difficult to play now since they removed a large portion of his early game strength. Although I can say that was definitely warranted, they did hit him a bit too hard. Even then, i'll still continue to play him top-lane and rarely if ever die in laning phase, and ruin every top-laners experience and bait them into 4-box recalls.

Lee has over 600% in total AD ratios

Despite that I hate lee sin. He doesn't have total ad ratios. And got probably 400% bonus AD Ratio. Still huge but less than you think.

This might not happen for a while. Riot is prioritizing other champions for VGUs and other mini-reworks such as Swain and Aatrox and soon after that they'll probably do Nunu

All of the class reworks honestly need to be looked over, I could name 5 or 6 class reworks where the game could be made better with simple reverts. The class reworks simply weren't good.

Shaco's kit is a bit of a mess but so was his previous kit imo. Just main lee sin instead. That's what I did after I gave up on shaco. Now I actually find lee sin to be more fun.

I really tried to make shaco work but even shaco mains / streamers like White crow who had good contents pretty much gave up on him, and shaclone mostly just troll in games now.

They reverted the Kog'maw issue because it was too good, not too bad.

Making his ad have a bigger scale won't do much, because of how his kit works. He is a crit, master deciever type of champion and can ap if he wants.

But I do agree on the fact that he needs a real change, his kit is too boring to play, at least for me, takes so much prep to actually kill someone in early ganks and we all know early is the meta.

Yeah I'd rather not see that happen... I got so sick of being bursted down by a Shaco that was building tank items with like 1 actual AD item. And they couldn't even be caught either... they'd just run away at full speed with Deadman's Plate.
