4 vs 5 make it forgiven >.>

Well i just played a 4 vs 5 game where our adc didnt move a single time, so obviously we lost. Through that experience I got an idea, which is make such games 'forgiven'. The data is being tacked so if 1 person has 0 at every stat then make that game for the loosing team 'forgiven', it shouldt be hard right ? Its just not fair. I uderstand that people can have some kind of a bug or something like that, but this shouldt count as a defeat >.>

Reason you can't do that is it can be abused. "Oh I don't really like the team we drafted, so I can either dodge and lose LP or make it forgiven."

people who do that often can be banned

But the larger issue would be the cascade effect it would have on MMR or in the case of ranked LP. Lets say that Riot develops a system that identifies abuse cases unreasonably fast, for sake of example one to five games. This means that beyond the player abusing the system there will be nine to forty five players being effected by one player taking advantage of the system. This is assuming a really short time period to establish if a player is abusing the system, likely a real time table would be longer.

This raises the questions how do you deal with the players effected by the abuse of the system? Retro active changes to MMR and LP? That would not be fair as loses/gains would be near arbitrary to the other players. At the same time it would not be fair to the community to say inappropriate results from the system should stand.

Not an easy set of questions to tackle, with no real black and white set of answers.

then how about a report kind of system, if in your game someone was afk, then if 4 poeple report it, then the system will check of 1 person has 0 stats, if thats the case then it the game will be fogiven.

This leaves a massive hole for intentional trolls or afk's to exploit. They just need one creep to avoid an auto detect. Any system that relies on a calculable finite number which can be obtained allows for exploitation.

This system also relies on all teammates taking part of the report system, which while likely, is not guaranteed. Again finite public numbers used to control systems like this are often not elegant solutions to issues like this.

Sadly the gradual weeding out of afk players through leave-buster is a stronger solution than quick fix solutions like this. I know that is of little consolation because we as players do not see the results of leave buster and ensuing bans, but still it leaves a lot less room for edge cases.

So ruin the experiences of 95% of the player base because less than 5% are going to abuse it? Let's also not forget the fact that those who do abuse it will get punished accordingly by leaver buster. Solutions can be easily thought of to prevent this abuse, and as far as I am concerned, it's just an excuse people use to not implement it.

People who dislike the draft would leave the game before the game starts. If someone never connects to the game or afk at the base since minute 1 then the game shouldn't count and allows everyone to leave within 10 minutes

Been proposing idea for ages. They won't listen.
