Cait vs. Corki

so I need a new adc, and my friend told me to get corki. however, i've been looking more at caitlyn because draven is an *sshole. as of now, which of them is the better adc?

Better at what?

Caitlyn fits into more team comps because she's a bully in the early game and a safe pusher. Corki scales great with items and does a lot of mixed AoE damage but he's bad at harassing and dueling until Level 6. I'm Bronze so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

I feel Cait is better. She doesn't scale as well, and her transfer into the mid isn't as secured as Corkis, but she is nigh unbeatable early game. Corki is a better teamfighter and scales into late a BIT better than her, but I don't care for him.

Basically, mid game is secure, would you prefer early or late game?

Well according to lolking they have exactly the same winrate, so I'd say they are pretty similar in power. Somewhat different playstyles, though they are both lane bullies.
