In my experience, the ADC role is just as strong as ever. They are, as they always have been, quite capable of doing immense amounts of sustained damage, when given the opportunity. The problem ADCs have is that people have learned to dive the ADC and forgotten to protect the ADC. In many ways, ADCs are just as team reliant as supports when it comes to carrying, albeit relying on different things.
