Best tips for climbing?

I know what I'm capable of in this game, and I want to climb to my last season rank again. But this time around, it's a lot harder this season.

Higher ranked players, what are some things I can do to at least consistently win with the game in its' current state?

The two biggest issues I see (without seeing any actual gameplay) are your champion selections and where you play them. In only 91 games, you've played 38 champions. The most you've played with one champion is nine with Sett. You want to focus on as few champions as possible while being able to reliably avoid counterpicks, bans, and other people picking your champions while also being able to counterpick and fit team comps. While that sounds like a lot, you really don't need more than two to four champions per role. For the other issue, you need to play champions where they're supposed to be played. Yasuo is not a bottom or top laner. Skarner is not a top laner. Ekko is not a bottom laner.

You can't, because it's all an illusion. Riot rigs the elo system to profit off your addiction through a forced 50% winrate, or rather a set of wins and losses that keep you just pissed off enough to rage and maybe be banned so they can profit off you rebuying your account, or let you win and hit your dopamine receptors with the flashy lights, all while keeping maximum exposure to their online store.

So called "Pros" and "Streamers"? Bought and paid for to give you hope. You think Riot doesn't see a cut of those profits from ProGuides and other sites?

Elo boosters? If Riot were at all concerned with those sites they would have their legal team all over them like Blizzard does with private servers of their games. Riot profits off your misery.

The house always wins.

Most people don't see it, but their brain does.

Any rage or denial you see at this fact is simply the addiction talking. "Just keep playing, you'll win eventually!" says the gambler, while the casino counts his money with a chuckle.

"Your mechanics just need work! Keep practicing!" says the zealot of Pro Guides etc while he himself remains hard stuck despite taking the Iron to Plat course 5 times.

Play a champion and role that can single-handedly carry the game if they pop off (mid is probably the best role for this). Play that champion exclusively and get very good with them. Focus on what you can do to carry but be cognizant of your teammates trying to make plays for dragon or baron and be available as much as possible to help. Farm whenever possible, maintain a high creep score, and choose your targets wisely. Purchase and use vision wards as much as you can and don't travel alone in places without vision.

Duo with a Plat+ smurf There are TONS of them out there offering their services.

If you pay one you will be banned but they wont.

Play the latest flavor of broken champ, when a patch changes that, then change the champ your playing to the new most broken s+ flavor. Enjoy playing a certain champ? Too bad bro. But try to stick to a handfull of broken champs, so if one is nerfed you got the others to rely on.
