Season 6 seems lackluster in comparison to previous seasons.

I've been playing League since season 2 (best season of League in my opinion), the season where League grew in popularity in an unfathomable rate. Season 3 and 4 were also amazingly fun to play, with Season 5 being a little bit less, but still enjoyable. However, with the current Season, the game seems to be extremely boring to play, of course Season 6 can still (and most likely will) improve, it just seems lackluster than it was back then. Maybe I just played the game too much and for a long time, but it honestly felt like this season doesn't have much positive impact, as the other ones (Dynamic Queue, skewing the ranking system atm). Anyone else been feeling this way? I've seen other boards posts with more people quitting the game this season than any of the other seasons (mainly because of Dynamic Queue).

-Btw, anyone here been playing since season 2 or longer? Cookies for those that have played the game this long and are still playing.

I've been around since season 1 sometime, and.. i don't really think the game has changed that much. As much fun as it is to complain about how terrible it all is now, it's actually not all bad. I remember in one of my very first games.. maybe at account level 5 or 6, an akali with 6 gunblades jumped on our entire team in the fountain and got a pentakill... then stood just outside and did it again immediately when we respawned. That's really hilarious and fun for the akali, and i remember laughing about it with my friends at the time, but if that could happen today do you know how much whining there would be? I genuinely think the problem is that the game is too balanced. I remember 5 people attacking raid boss ap alistar with his ridiculous (was it 80%?) percentage damage reduction, but I don't remember being mad about it at the time. It was hilarious. All the old school broken mechanics were funny, but now they're so muddled in hidden power and dashes, that the fun is hidden behind a veneer of frustration. It's no longer possible to laugh when your team is getting stomped by a broken mechanic, your only choice is to copy it and be ready to counter it every single game.

I started S1 technically (how do i know, it was kill or be killed no such thing ascADC bot, u went Garen bot if u wanted). Then stopped a bit.

S2 was loads of fun. TF's tp was on E and R slowed a lot. S3 stopped for most of it. Community more toxic than mercury and lead together (still bad, but noticed i havent been told to get cancer as often).

S4 was fun af. Good mix of OP, skill, and strategy. Katarina OP, DFG XD.

S5 strategy for days. Loved it.

S6... getting better. But not really fun. The spark died off.

Been playing since S1 and all I do now is play ARAM and wait for URF. Everything else is boring. I was so excited for URF on April Fools Day but alas, Rito has decided to troll me and put it on the 22nd-25th, a weekend where I won't even be able to play due to work. I'm waiting for Overwatch to come out and am hoping it will be my new go-to game of choice

thats because we are in BETA 2.0, if you didnt notice everything is getting reworked, at the end of 2017 league of legends is league of legends 2
