Suggestion: Casual League

Basically a game mode that doesn't have penalties for dodging or leaving. Also if a player leaves they will be filled with a bot. Perhaps even some sort of accelerated game-play mechanic where most matches only last 10-20 minutes.

For those of us who have lives, bad internet, a needy job, or something else. Also as a new player WAY back when I first joined the no leaving rule seemed TBH completely clinically insane and was a huge turn off to the game. I have since sort of adapted a don't play if you don't have time view on the situation but I'm sure there are still people who feel the same way.

Here's what I foresee happening: One person gets frustrated, runs out of time, etc. and leaves. 4+bot vs. 5. Okay, maybe that's playable, maybe not. Especially if the person who left was adc, support, or jungle, it's going to make the game more frustrating for the rest of the team. So I predict another person will leave. Now it's 3+bots vs. 5. At that point, I predict the 3 will throw up their hands and quit, leave 5 vs. bots. The 5 didn't sign up for a bot game. They wanted to play against human players, so they all resign to start a new game.

Maybe not every game, but enough that I expect it to be the typical pattern of what you've proposed.
