Neeko Ulti Thoughts and concerns
I honestly love neeko. Her art, personality, and char model design are amazing and so much fun to use. I do however have some minor concerns regarding her synchronicity with the R ability design.
Her R is really hard to land without flash. The most effective way is by using her W and or using her passive to confuse them a bit at start, but it can still be tough unless the enemy team is completely ignoring you. For a char with no escape/mobility spells besides the minor W speed. I don't understand why they you gave her an ulti like that as a mage?
- She lacks the mobility required for it.
- Needs Flash up if you want a really good set up with it.
- W can work sometimes, but not all the time.
- Most of the time you might die or just miss completely because of the lack of mobility and defense.
- The shield should honestly turn on before the drop to help her survivability =/
- The R is really OP/bloated just to balance out/ make out the bad mechanic synchronicity she has to make it actually land/work without dying in the processor before it goes off.
Her R just doesn't synchronize with her kit imo and very hard to get off. Yes, it's rewarding, VERY rewarding when it does... but at a huge cost if it doesn't--meaning death and the cost begins the second you attempt to cast it because you can die before it even goes into shield stage portion.
Its kind of weird going from a mage where all her abilities synchronize well with each other --ZOE-- to a mage design where her abilities are kind of "seen" already, a 2.0 version of current mage's abilities (example Zyra snare vs neeko's 2.0 snare----lux E vs neeko's 2.0 Q). To be honest, I expected much more in creativity for a mage ability set design after getting zoe's unique kit =/.
: Has an ult that, often times, requires flash to get a good engage ult with.

: Flashing for this ult is also most common, as it gives the enemy no chance to turn around unless you get unlucky.

: Yeah, she may have a 'leap' already but sometimes you just can't get in range and gotta flash for that execute.
: Pretty much the only way to start an engage with Illaoi, is to flash ult.
