Why do people think ADC is easy?
Why?
Why?
lol who thinks adc is easy? It is probably most difficult or second most difficult role in the game. I mean as adc : 1 ) You are squishy and will easily die even to teemo fart. 2 ) Everyone and their grandma has mentality of , 'FOCUS ON ADC!!' - specially assassins. So you really need to be masochist to be adc main. 3 ) Almost every other role will shit on you in 1v1 - at least till lategame or unless you severely outplay them/are fed you won't probably win in 1v1 with others. 4 ) You need to have very good positioning. One mistake in lategame teamfights and you are dead. 5 ) Again you are expected to deal damage - lots of it consistently but one cc , even 0.75 sec root and you can be dead. You need to kite and watch out for all the cc/divers/bursts and position accordingly , all the while dealing damage. 6 ) You are very dependent on team. There is only so much an adc can do to kite a good zed/lee/lb etc.. you need peel from your team which you won't get properly 80% of the time. This is specially true in low elo. You are also dependent on support in lane.
Honestly I can go on to explain more but it won't matter. Fact is adc is one of , if not the hardest role to play in the game. It can be very satisfying sometimes but those moments are rare and more often than not you will regret picking adc if you don't enjoy it or are just playing to climb/win etc.
because it is, unless your playing someone like vayne or draven.
They think that you just stand there and right click in a team fight.
Not kiting, not moving to avoid being CC'd and focused down. Not avoiding getting blown up by some random rengar that just ulted and flashed onto you or an Irelia. ADC is probably the most mechanically intensive role you could pick. I mean sure you're not playing lee sin but the skill floor and ceiling for adc is very high.
Because its the only role with a babysitter.
WEll during first half of Pre-season six i'd say it was easier, but not anymore.
Obviously, there were still some busted no skill Rageblade building champs that kind of prevented adcs to truly shine.
Now, it is actually harder to play it. Especially, now that Mages had some love. However, the no skill champs seemed to no longer have the same impact as they did in Pre-MYMU.
Because at one point in time it was easy.
Now its hope to god there aren't 5 tanks on the other team and do your best to not die c:
Because the concept of the role is pretty simple but its probably the most demanding role mechanically speaking.
Because people think all they do is to rightlick and they have teammates to protect their asses.
That's not the case.
