Zyra Support

Back during Mage Update, the community had spoken up against Riot for wanting to make become more of a support champion. A lot of them came up with a good suggestion to why she should be a mid laner and that she was force into support because she can't be played mid. Riot acknowledge the issue and thus we get the current where her slow does not scale on AP unlike how slow work. She keep the old build pattern, high magic penetration due to high base damage and DOT, just like the season 2 Zyra support.

However, it's pretty clear by now that she will always be force into the Support role, there were some experimental period during the beginning of the Mage update where people play her mid. After that, she went back to where she started, opt into the support role because her AOE and plants are just much more useful when there are multiple enemies.

I don't blame Riot for this at all, they serve what the people ask for and yet the community still abuse her design by making her a support. Seriously, they scream for mid and 92.58% of her games are support. No, this is not Riot fault, they did a good job of making her a mid laner, but the community still have this mind set of season 2, and refuse to let it go. You are saying that this http://i.imgur.com/GZ77LKG.png is not worthy of a mid laner damage? I know, this isn't the first time that "support" out damage everyone on the game. But the fact that this champion have one of her item slot taken away for a and still deal more damage than other full offensive build mage say a lot about her role as a mid laner. She is capable of being a mage.

What I'm trying to say is that, Riot should just treat her as a support if people are not going to change. It's obvious that these people are just abusing her kits as a support when she is fully capable of being a mid laner. It's not good to break a promise but, if you guys are not going to make a change to encourage people to play her mid, then patch her around being a support, they asked for it. Right now, I believe that a full burst glass cannon mage should not be a strong pick as a support. They are suppose to excel when there is a teammate around them, support should not be able to fight people 1v3 and get a 2 for 1 trade afterward. A mid laner doing it is acceptable, but not a support. So decide the path for , is she going to be a mid laner like you promise, or is she going to be a support because people are abusing it?
