What is it will people never ever surrendering nowadays?

I recently noticed a trend in games that people refuse to surrender even when the game is very obviously lost (i.e. 10 kill and 2 drags behind as well as dead inhib at 20 min mark). I can understand this attitude in ranked where you lose LP, but can someone explain me what is the point of dragging out a 20 min game to 50 minutes when you have absolutely no way of winning aside from the whole enemy team disconnecting / suiciding into fountain. even when 3 people on the team consistently press yes to surrender, someone just has to keep delaying the inevitable. People doing this tell me please - what is the point?

in some scenarios, its truly impossible to win anymore. but mostly, surrender votes from some retards come out at 20 minutes regardless of how winable the game is in reality. they are just frustrated shitkids and give up on an easily winable game.

this is WAY MORE OFTEN the case than people not surrendering a 100% lost game and i think also the reason for people not surrendering. if some shitkid fizz player who is 0/3 in lane by 5 minutes writes "gg ff 20" and then proceeds to try and surrender at 20 even tho the game is winable, you will probably learn for yourself to never follow the surrender vote of a shitkid and then it just so happens that your surrendervotes fall under the same cathegory, even if they MIGHT be justified. but they might just not be.

Really? Because I find the opposite more often. I often get stuck in games where we're 20 kills behind, they got 3 dragons over us, they've already taken out one or two inhibitors, the entire team is bickering and bitching to eachother, yet they STILL don't surrender.

well that sucks, but generally you can say: if your entire team combined can deal enough damage to kill any one of the enemy champions if he facechecks 5 of you in a brush, you can still win and shouldnt surrender.

Oh, ok, so I can still win a victory that means nothing to me anymore because I'm not having any enjoyment whatsoever if they're complete fucking retards, gotcha.

if you play for enjoyment only, play with your fuckign dolls

Well, reading the OP, I'd say that is really very obviously not what he's talking about at all.

Yeah, sometimes whiner noob kids call ff at 20 because they're too stupid to put in the effort, but that doesn't explain why people will continue to vote "No" to a surrender when you're down 2-24 in kills, have lost every turret outside your base as well as one of your inhibs while you haven't even gotten your first turret off them yet, your opponents have 4 dragons and just grabbed Baron and your ADC has already DC'd. When someone is refusing to surrender in THAT situation, I can only imagine they're doing it to be pricks to the players on their team who simply no longer wish to waste any more of their time on an unwinnable game. It's so selfish that it's bordering on trolling.

one thing might seem to you like another more often than not, so be careful with your judgement.

Some people just want to play the game don't care much about wining, when you push some one into a corner they have no choice but to fight back hence the best part is at the end.

AND SOME PEOPLE DON'T. So what makes the former so much more important than the latter?

The latter agreed to play a full game of League of Legends, just as much as the former. The difference is that the latter wants everyone else to forget that they signed up to play a full game.

I've had many games where there's a time constraint on my side. Playing for 40 minutes and losing horribly is often better in those situations than playing for 20 minutes, surrendering, and doing nothing for 20 minutes.

I will tell you what I tell every one one else that complains about what they don't get what they want. Some times you don't always get what you want and you have to deal with it, if you want the ability to construct and organised desisition play with a group of friend's not some random people just looking to play the game how it is win or lose.

Because surrendering is for losers? :P

In all seriousness though I very rarely surrender because playing league isn't just about winning. I feel that in most losing games I can still get a lot of practice with my champ mechanics, playing from behind, decision making, map awareness, and basically any skill necessary for LOL. Playing for me is about enjoying the game and getting better. Rather than just moving on an re-queing I'd prefer to keep trying to do what I can and use the game as experience.

I mean, Team Impulse came back from a huge gold deficit and a 17 minute inhib to beat CLG just the other day...the thing is, those types of games are winnable, but the chances are so slim that it's usually never worth it for non-professional players. If you're looking to just have fun, you're better off moving on to another game as quickly as possible rather than hoping for that low chance that you'll make an epic comeback.

the best part is being yelled at that im a worthless piece of shit for feeding (got camped, even tho i warded) then they bag me like im their king to press the yes button.

More often than not I will never surrender! People can come back especially if it's really close. I can't stand people who think the game is lost at first blood, and just spam surrender at 2min. I've come back from 4v5, and 3v5. It's not over till it's over. But I will admit there are times when you know it's over. If the enemy is ahead by a lot, and there is zero team communication there really is no hope.
