As a person who has played league of legends for about 4 years, and spent quite a bit of currency on rp for the game, I don't see why its necessary to have these extremely long account suspensions and chat restrictions at that, I was on a great winning streak in ranked, moved up from bronze V to bronze III, in about a week, but after this one month suspension I received ranked penalties from negative behavior, the match before my account was suspended I was reported for verbal abuse and harassment although I did not curse the entire game in fact my team mates cursed at me for telling them, not to get involved in a specific lane because it will feed them more, after carrying the team, they gradually grew upset because I didn't join their efforts and focused pushing my lane, I was the only one on the team with a positive kDa, and a turret left in my lane by the end of the match,

What I mainly would like to focus on, is the penalties, why so long over false accusations? and for good paying customers?, Even if someone did curse, there are filter options, if someone chooses not to have these filter options activated why do they report for inappropriate language? Also, why are ranked penalties being applied for suspensions of negative behavior, I have an excellent win lose ratio and kda ratio, yet I did not leave a game the entire season, why am I required to serve a month suspension, followed by chat restrictions for 70 games, and ranked restrictions for 35 draft wins, not games but wins, for being strategic on a troll team? because a couple of butthurts couldn't handle being the least valuable players, because they didn't get the help they desperately begged for, although i assisted more than our jungler and its not even my job.

The penalty and report systems need much work , when I tried the whole tribunal thing back in season 3-4 I noticed you could click pardon or penalize without having to read the reports or words said during the match, you could at least put a sensor for your tribunal, penalize the ones who used more fowl words and language, than letting a few impatient people click click their way through the tribunal.

Because to properly filter out every creative/offensive way people can bash each other you'd have to ban basically the entire english language. Just because you're not technically cursing, or if you are and it's filtered, doesn't mean I want to read all the different ways I should kill myself because I missed 2 cs.

Also, unless something very significant has changed in the logistics behind the scenes you don't get immediately punished right after a game. Your suspension is most likely not for the game immediately before it but is instead for some combination of past games and again, unless I missed some huge change in their policy, Riot doesn't toss out punishments for one game anyway. It usually takes either a particularly egregious report or a pattern of negative behavior.

Final point, I know that's its entirely possible to carry solo in this game AND that split-pushing a lane the whole game is a viable strategy. That said, you can't base trade faster than the whole enemy team and having a tower left in your lane doesn't mean anything if their team is wiping the floor with yours because you refuse to group up. If your team is getting stomped that badly and you're still able to push a lane by yourself it's because you ultimately aren't a factor in deciding the game and the enemy team feels comfortable letting you push because it's not a threat to their victory.

You actually can get immediately punished after a game, but it takes pretty much the full lobby to report you, and the chat logs had to be extremely offensive. Either that or the person that my entire game lobby reported and I got the fun message saying "A player you recently reported has been punished.", was due to the fact that he was quite likely horrific in his previous games as well.

Either way, OP must have deserved what he got due to the severity of the punishment, because if it went straight past just basic warnings and small chat restrictions, and hit him with a month long ban from the game, followed by ranked restrictions, and then chat restrictions on top of it, he either had the pattern or the stuff containted in the logs from that game were so incredibly offensive that the system threw up so many red flags it looked like Soviet Russia had returned.

LOL you are not banned on one single game. You need to have been receiving an amount of Reports in a set time frame to be banned. I downvoted after reading your first sentence. Playing for 4 years and buying RP does NOT give you the right to be an awful person in game, nor does climbing in ranks give you the permission to do so.

I have many points to apply to your post.

  1. Purchasing RP and spending money on the game itself does not grant you a license to be a completely horrendous person to other people in the game.

  2. There are millions of ways around chat filters, and just because the curse words are filtered out of the numerous statements you made likely throwing threats and instructing people on how they should kill themselves, doesn't mean the rest of the sentence is fine now.

  3. The penalties that you received are the result of one of two things. A. You have shown a pattern of being an unreasonably offensive person in your games, and frequently get reported for it. B. The chat logs provided from that games reports, of which you likely received the maximum possible 9 reports from a single game, were so absolutely terrible that you got to cut in line straight to some of the most severe punishments that Riot hands out to players.

  4. Your win rate and person in game performance, have zero bearing over getting ranked restricted, you get ranked restricted because you were a horrible person, and Riot doesn't want you further poisoning games.

  5. The accusations were clearly not false, because of the severity of your punishments, quit lying, or post the chat logs.

  6. The tribunal is no longer active, because Riot deemed the system ineffective largely due to the click through people, as well as the fact that some people didn't get punishments that they deserved for as much as several months late, meaning that they could have gone on to ruin thousands of further games for people. Now there's an automated system that picks up specific words, statements, phrases, with context from the surrounding words, to determine if a person is actually worthy of the reports they've received and how harsh of a punishment is to be levied against the same person. If the punishment the system determines is quite severe, members of Riot then overview the case to make sure that the system isn't at fault and that the punishment is actually deserved. Since yours went through it clearly was.

  7. I go on to further praise Riot's new behavioral system because it nailed you to the wall like you clearly deserved. Enjoy your punishments and I hope you come out on the other side a better person rather than reverting back to the exact habits that got you there in the first place.

A. make a point or B. be sure things are analyzed before asserted
