place more wards. 20 in a 44 minute game as a support isn't great.
How long a game drags on can drastically affect this; Including how long you spent in the laneing phase. You also need to take into account your grading is based off every other single Soraka players performance (Average S is much higher). I don't want to be rude; but that scores insanely easy to do on Soraka and "S Rank" shouldn't be easily obtained.
Not enough wards dropped.
From my experience, I've gotten an S- (not S, which is what i was going for) with a 15/2/17 KDA. It's supposed to be hard.
Yours could have been CS, objectives, or those three deaths.
While I'm uncertain about the criteria, you didn't mention vision at all despite playing soraka (which I assume you were support). Also while your score is decent, I can't tell how big of a percentage that is in terms of total kill participation.
I love that people are getting robbed based on wards.
a big part of playing support is vision control. Not placing many wards, and not destroying enemy wards generally means you won't get an s. It's not "robbing" people, it's called not rewarding less than optimal play. If you want an S, you have to play your role well. My first game with Ori I went 3/3/34 and had over 30 wards placed, and got an S. My first game with Janna went about the same and I got an S-, and that was before they altered support grading to make assists equal to kills.
I think there's been something lost in translation. I'll rephrase less diplomatically.
I love that these KDA-junkies who would rather stroke their ego than help the team are having the rug pulled out from under them because they won't do the simple work of warding. I mean, in theory, you could just drop a ward wherever you are when it's (yellow, free) active, never buy a sightstone, and completely by pass the barrier.
But they don't even do that. Because warding just isn't on their radar.
thank you for the comments everyone. im pretty new to this game. just picked it back up about a months ago and have been playing off and on. thank you to the people dropping helpfull sugestions. i will start to focus less on poking the enemy and more on warding the map and finding enemy wards. should i buy those wards that last forever? visiom wards or somthing? seems like that will be good. sorry for the bad grammer and spelling im typing this using my phone on my pc
