Now with dominion gone can we get a 1v1/2v2 mode?

So now with dominion gone you now can put out a new map for summoners to enjoy. I was hoping you could do a 1v1/2v2 map + mode, like normal and ranked. I feel like summoners WANT that in the game. I can't speak for the hole community tho, but me and all my friends would LOVE a 1v1/2v2 mode. I know if we wanted to we could do it on howling abyss but it feel the same as summoners rift, and on summoners rift the minions on top/bot lane just push in the game and it's not fun when that happens. I know you guys did that on a snow down "i didn't play back then, started at the beginning of S5" and idk how that went, but i would think it went over well. Let me know what you guys think [slayer-jinx-wink]

They had that mode before, it was called Snowdown Showdown, played on the Howling Abyss map, with its own rules. They haven't brought it back in a while, instead going with Legend of the Poro King. I believe they said it's popularity died down rather quickly past the first day or two, which is probably why they haven't bothered again. I played it quite a lot myself while it was around, i found it enjoyable.

Given that Riot just removed Dominion citing bug fixes and graphical updates taxing resources, how would it make sense to introduce a new map? Much less a new ranked queue, particularly as the absence of a ranked queue was a significant factor in Dominion's lack of popularity.
