We need a more refined reporting system because trolls evolve

If a J4 troll picks jungle but doesn't say anything during champion select, then apologizes because he says he was afk what do we do? How do we stop that?

What if he uses his ulti to stick me and my lane opponent together and then flashes out without helping? Do I just report him for having a negative attitude?

What if Leona farms during the last 6 minutes of the game and doesn't do anything else because "the game is over"? Is that a reportable offense?

What if these people don't talk the whole game? How does the tribunal judge them without chat logs?

We need replays in this game, and we need a more defined reporting system. We need to be able to report for individual hate.

We need an option to ban.

I've been playing this game for at least 4 years. The community isn't getting better. Riot is getting their money, and of course they care about their game, but as long as they are getting their money they will not fully stop people from playing. So we need a middle ground.

An option to ask everyone involved in the game, whether they left the stats page or not, if a player should be banned for a specific amount of time due to their behavior.

Failing that at LEAST show results for our reports. Tell us about the champions who we reported, and whether they got off scott free or not.

What does "troll picks jungle" mean? If he's picking a role someone else with a later pick called, that's not against the code.

Depending on the situation, this is "griefing: assisting enemy team".

How is "verbal abuse" not covering this case?

Probably not. Maybe "negative attitude" depending on the situation.

Toxicity costs Riot tons of money; neither raging nor raged at players buy skins. That's why Riot has a pretty big player behavior team tasked with designing systems to mitigate toxicity. If they knew a better way to do it, they have every incentive to do it.

For what it's worth, Riot consistently publishes statistics that say toxicity is way down relative to previous seasons, and that matches my personal play experience.
